About Us

Barbados Dress Rentals is the newest venture of serial entrepreneur Monif Clarke.  Having moved to Barbados in 2015 for a change of pace and lifestyle, Ms. Clarke, who has almost 20 years in the fashion industry in New York City, wanted to bring her entrepreneurial expertise and fashion know-how to Barbados.  A child of Barbadian parents, Monif has always had an affinity for Barbados and traveled back and forth every year as a child.  As the owner of a number of ecommerce businesses including Monif C., Plus Size Bodystockings and M Clarke Consulting LLC, Ms. Clarke wanted to bring her business savvy and love of building consumer businesses to Barbados.
